The Eta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi eagerly awaits recruitment each year. We are excited to welcome a new class of members to our Sisterhood, who will continue our legacy of developing well-rounded collegiate women. Our wish is that all Potential New Members feel welcome throughout the process of Recruitment. Each sorority at Alabama has something unique to offer, and we are confident that each girl will find her home. That being said, if you are a Potential New Member, we hope that you pay special attention to the warmth, sincerity, and passion that encompasses Alpha Delta Pi. We can't wait to meet you during recruitment this year! In order to help you have the best experience possible, we have compiled a small list of tips for you:
The actives are just as nervous as you are, while you worry about putting your best foot forward we worry about the same thing, whether that be accidentally messing up the door song or saying the wrong thing. That said, try to relax, enjoy yourself and trust the process!
Tuscaloosa in early August is not only incredibly hot and humid, but the weather is also very unpredictable! Make sure to pack a tote bag with plenty of water, a handheld fan, and an umbrella/raincoat. You may also want to pack flip flops to wear between houses.
Other items you may want in your tote bag are stain remover, mints, lipstick, and other makeup, along with your Greek Chic and a pen to take notes about your favorite houses.
Keep an open mind! While there are going to be plenty of people who care about you that will offer their advice, the decision is 100% yours, and it's ultimately you that has to be happy with wherever you choose.
